December I can finally announce my new production for next year! Double Infemnity is a one-woman show, a gender-flipped crime noir pastiche bringing humour, style and feminism to the noir genre. Run starts 31st January. I have also been shortlisted for Unlimited's Emerging Artist Award.
November War Pig finally debuted in London (having been performed in New York, San Francisco, and Birmingham) as part of a showcase by new all-female theatre company Paperclip Theatre. My monologue The Frogs was performed at the Bolton Octogon having been selected as one of the winners of the Best of Bolton Playwriting Competition. I am currently working on a rehearsed reading of my Graeae Write to Play commission Brennschluss, which is on at the Curve Theatre on 1st December directed by the wonderful Jenny Sealey.
October My full-length play Puppy has been accepted for the Women Playwrights International Conference and will be performed in Santiago, Chile next year. I'm also working with new all-female theatre company Paperclip Theatre, and preparing for a few upcoming projects!
September I'm in residence at Birmingham Rep as part of Graeae Write to Play this month, working on the second draft of my Graeae play Brenschluss. I returned to London for the Barnes Film Festival, which I helped organise. I also interviewed Steven Moffat and Sue Vertue on stage (video here) and participated in a panel discussion about screenwriting.
August War Pig opens in San Francisco, and Puppy returns for two nights at the Bread and Roses Theatre in Clapham. I'm also working at the Lyric Hammersmith to create a collaborative theatre performance, performance dates tba.
July 'Puppy' came second in the Bread and Roses Theatre Emerging Company Award, and as a prize will be receiving a two-night run at the Bread and Roses Theatre. I'm also frantically polishing the play I'm writing for Graeae, to get the first draft in by the deadline. And doing a little bit of acting at the Bush Theatre.

April This has actually been a very quiet month, I've mostly been working on my Graeae play.
March VAULT Festival closes. The Bush Theatre re-opens and our community theatre work there resumes. More Graeae stuff (including a 'sharing' of monologues) at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry. My short play War Pig debuts off-Broadway.
February Claustrophilia opened at VAULT to excellent reviews. Later in the month Puppy opened, where it sold out and was namechecked by both the Guardian and Time Out as pick of the week.
January Off to Leicester for a week to start Graeae Write to Play. Otherwise I'm neck-deep in rehearsals for Puppy and Claustrophilia, and I've been doing lots of interviews and writing some articles (including one for Exeunt on lesbian theatre) to promote them.
December I've been named one of Graeae's Write to Play writers for 2017, meaning I will be spending a year writing with them, including a commission to write a full-length play, a residency, and a year of mentoring and workshops. I've also been having various meetings (including pitching to the Mayor's office) over a proposed verbatim play about disability.
November A research trip to Berlin, and various photoshoots and prep work for VAULT.
October Two full-length plays of mine, 'Puppy' and 'Claustrophilia' have been accepted to next year's VAULT Festival. I also modelled for a photography exhibit at the Bush Theatre, and Fallout had another scratch performance at the Pleasance.
September Busy month! I was selected to write a short response play for the St James Theatre's RE:act, which will be staged at the High Tide Festival. I was commissioned by DPAC to write a new play to be performed as part of a street theatre protest against cuts to disability benefits. My short comic play debuted as part of a fundraising night at The Star of Kings, produced by Siberian Lights. And I held my first acting workshop, as part of Barnes Film Festival.
August A monologue of mine was performed at the Jerwood Theatre Upstairs at the Royal Court as part of 'Stories From My Mother.' The Royal Court's Grace Gummer directed, and it was performed by Anna Piper. I also picked up a fair amount of journalism work this month, covering the Camden Fringe for Sick of the Fringe, and writing for the Huffington Post.
July My play 'Fallout' (written for the St James Theatre 'RE:act') has been picked up for a week's run as part of Goblin Baby's 'Alone Inside the Box.' It will be on at the Bread and Roses Theatre in Clapham, 12-16 July. Buy tickets.
June My one-woman play '563 Days' (as writer, not performer) was produced by Sonderlust Theatre and staged at the Lion and Unicorn Theatre in Kentish Town in early June, and is going to be performed again at the Southwark Playhouse next month as part of Courting Drama.
May I'm performing in and am contributing writer for a new play 'The Neighbourhood Project' at the Bush Theatre, a co-production with Look Left Look Right. I also wrote a piece about it for the Bush website. At the end of the month my short play Des Res (about the Elm Guest House scandal) debuts as part of Wandsworth Fringe.

March I've been chosen by the St James Theatre as one of four up and coming playwrights to write a short play (within 24 hours) in response to their current production, Miss Atomic Bomb. My response play will be staged at the St James Theatre on 23rd March. Book tickets. My horror-comedy short play Los Escapa had a reading at Script Tank earlier this month. Black Comedy (my directorial debut) opened and was a sell-out.
February Tortoise had a rehearsed reading at the Arcola, and was a great success. Black Comedy rehearsals continue, as does work with the Bush.
January Rehearsals start for Black Comedy, which I am directing. I am also participating in developing a new verbatim theatre project at the Bush Theatre, which will be staged in May. Work with the Arcola on Tortoise continues. December Following its West End showcase, three theatres in London expressed interest in staging Tortoise for a full production. I'm currently working with the Arcola to develop it further.
November Tortoise is showcased at the Criterion Theatre on 13th November, as part of the Criterion's Playwriting Programme. After that, I'm off to Istanbul for some r&r!
October Rehearsing for a showcase of my play Tortoise - I've also written a magazine article about Tortoise (Scan here.) This month I also spent a week workshopping Macbeth with Simon Godwin and Actors Guild, and attended a directing workshop with Lyndsey Turner.
September Playing Surly (the Alchemist) and Puck (Midsummer Night's Dream) at the Rose Theatre Bankside for Merge Festival. I'm also one of the actors reading Moby Dick Unabridged at the Southbank Centre for the London Literature Festival (listen to it HERE), and my short play Nosology debuted at Theatre N16 as part of their relaunch.
August Continuing the Shakespeare audio series as the Queen in Richard II and Marina in Pericles. I've also been commissioned to write an adaptation of Aristophanes' comedy The Ecclesiazusae.
July My play 'Lonely in Loughborough' debuts at Ophelia Dalston, as part of the VV2 Festival.
June 'Jesus Christ Superstar' opens! I'm also playing Isabella in 'Measure for Measure' and Adriana in 'Comedy of Errors' for a new audio series.
May Second callback to play a new regular character on a major Sky 1 series. Fingers crossed! Rehearsals for 'Jesus Christ Superstar' increase as first night approaches.
April Feature film 'Run Away With Me' premieres in London, and is also chosen as the final film of the British Independent Film Festival.
March Participating in R&D workshops for the Young Vic's upcoming production of 'Measure for Measure.' I've also been meeting with the director and casting director for 'Tortoise'.
February Directing a small project, and acting as an actor-in-residence for the Criterion Playwriting Programme.
January Currently producing a charity production of 'Jesus Christ Superstar', and in talks with a West End theatre for 'Tortoise.' December I'll be performing in site-specific production of 'A Christmas Carol' at the Charles Dickens Museum in London later this month.
November I will be performing in the Royal Shakespeare Company's Christmas Stage Festival this December.

June I am currently working on developing my play 'Tortoise' (about women in an NHS psychiatric ward); Little but Fierce Theatre performed a short version at the New Wolsey Theatre this week as part of their Pulse Festival. cting-wise I read a sonnet at the South Bank yesterday as part of their event to read all 154 of Shakespeare's Sonnets in one day, and recently did a panel at London Comic Con to promote Eaten by the Wolves. I'm also in rehearsals to play Ophelia and Isabella in a Shakespeare festival, SmorgasBard.
November In December I will be acting in a play I wrote at the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon. This 45-min comic Shakespearean re-working of 'A Christmas Carol' will run for two performances on 15th December as part of the RSC's Christmas festival (in the RST).
October I've just finished filming a small role in a major feature film out next year, and a TV commercial for Sky Sports. We start filming the last four episodes of 'Eaten by the Wolves' series one in December.
June Happy to announce I've been cast as part of the ensemble in the Royal Court Theatre's upcoming production 'Peckham the Soap Opera.'
March I'm rehearsing the lead in new play 'Livia's Life', an adaptation of the memoirs of Holocaust survivor Livia Bitton-Jackson, which will play in London and eastern Europe.

July I've been shooting a new BBC drama series, more news to come. I'm also in the music video for Jenny Mai's new song 'The Way You Are', playing the role of the vengeful ex-girlfriend.
